The former MPD officer arrested in connection with a fatal motorcycle accident

Mobile, Ala. (Wala) – A former mobile policeman who is involved in a fatal crash with a motorcycle was charged with vehicle for murder.

Roy Adams Jr., 45, from Theodore, came to the mobile County Metro prison and released a short time later.

In July, Adams was involved in an accident in the Old Shell Road and the Mobile Infirmary Boulevard, in which the motorcyclist Sumner Howard was killed.

An investigation by the FOX10 news reporter Ariel Mallory showed that Adams was involved in a total of four accidents last year, including the fatal wreck.

The mobile police authority said Adams voluntarily resigned three weeks ago. According to Officer Roderick Miles, MPD spokesman, the resignation had no resignation with the fall examination.
