CBS News Miami received an exclusive cell phone video that showed a violent fight from Friday morning outside of South Miami Senior High School.

The video can be difficult for some people to see because the 25-second clip, which was recorded by a CBS News Miami viewer, shows a brutal attack that the school system took place on Friday morning, which showed two students on two other students and stormed them on the floor with their fists.

“Call someone”, a voice on the video can be heard.

A spokeswoman for the public schools in Miami-Dade County called this an unusual incident and said that nobody was seriously injured. She said it was not known what this brawl prompted. CBS News Miami blurred her faces because they are minors.

Crista Carraway, the mother of a ninth grade student at the school, said she had security concerns.

“I don't think it's right. I think something should be done about it,” she said. “Children in this society are very cruel and mean today. I think something has to be done, and I think children should be responsible and possibly arrested.

“I just think it's terrible,” said daughter Micah, after her mother CBS News Miami permitted to speak to her. “I hope the person pays for what they did. And I hope the victims are fine.”

The spokeswoman for the school district said that they were aware of the mobile phone video and that the school administrator and school police react quickly to tackle the situation, and the students involved were disciplined according to the pupils' code of conduct.

“In the public schools of Miami-Dade County, the security and well-being of all students remains the highest priority,” said the spokeswoman. “The district undertakes to promote the values of reluctance, respect and the responsible use of social media. We ask that parents strengthen these principles at home.”
