Specifications and possible price losses for Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge

Already in January, Samsung teased a new ultra-thin galaxy phone. Samsung has still not fully lifted the veil from the so-called Galaxy S25 edge, but it feels like we already know everything about it.

This is due to a steady stream of leaks, including this youngest by Roland Quandt von Winfuture (via techradar). According to Quandt's reporting, the Galaxy S25 edge is supplied with a titanium frame, which loads at 163 g (or 5.7 ounces) with only 5.85 mm thickness. This is similar to the rumored size of the iPhone 17 Air, which is still to be released.

For comparison it is rumored that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 is between 8.2 mm and 9.55 mm thick (and it would be thinner as foldable if it unfolds). The thinnest phones of the world are currently coming from the Oppo company, including the foldable Oppo Find N5, which is only 4.21 mm in the development.

Other reported specifications for the Galaxy S25 edge are:

• Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset

• 12 GB RAM

• 256 GB or 512 GB of storage space

• 200 MP main lens of the main lens

• IP68 rating for water and dust resistance

Many of them are arranged on this topic with previous leaks, including the dimensions of the phone, the chipset and the relatively small battery size. However, the construction documents and the presence of wireless loads are new to Quandt's report. This seems a “where there is smoke, there is a fire situation”, in other words, since several leaks from completely different sources report exactly the same information about this phone.

Quandt also reported on possible price information, with things difficult. According to the report, the phone starts at approximately the USD equivalent of 1,400 US dollars and would increase higher if you want more storage space.
