Cases are made against 2 men in connection with shooting and crash, in which 2 were killed

Wichita, Kan. (Kwch) – Cases against two men who were connected to the death of two other men at a shootout and a crash of a little more than three years ago on Thursday with a conviction and a guilty plea.

The district prosecutor of the Sedgwick district said that 21-year-old Tre'beh Jones in two other cases faces him before a prison sentence of 39 years in prison for murder and convictions.

In the case in which the 22-year-old James Lowe, Jr., is concerned and fatal, the 22-year-old James Lowe, Jr., confessed two cases of voluntary homicide, criminal discharge of a firearm and a tightened battery, said the office of the DA. The conviction in Lowe's case is set for June 18.

First, Lowe, Jones and another teenager were arrested a few weeks after the crime in two cases of the first degree. The police said at least one inmate of a vehicle that was shot after a Ford Fusion, and although no one was hit by shots, the subsequent accident killed the 21-year-old Amill Williams and 20-year-old Alonzo Montgomery. A 22-year-old woman was also injured.

The crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. on February 21, 2022 in the 800 block by South Grove near Lincoln and Grove. Sedgwick County Dispatch received calls about possible shots between Harry and Lincoln along George Washington Blvd. When the police arrived, they found the destroyed Ford Fusion.
