Spring training: Milton Eagles

My third station ended up in a familiar place with the Milton Eagles, which reloading in some important position groups in 2025. Nevertheless, they are still very talented and a program that is good to develop players who appear at a high level on Friday evening. Head coach Ben Reaves and his employees will have a competitive team and will observe in autumn.

To see players

LB Tristan Lester- Lester will be one of the managers for the Eagles this season. He looked really good in practice and was always around football. He plays at a different speed and its versatility was fully equipped. He is known for his hard skills on the rust and how quickly he plays. This year Lester will probably be a captain for defense and a signal caller for the Eagles.

Edge/LB Billy Weivoda He has some juice about him and is a player who can play a game. I have seen him personally in the course of his career and he can be a terror. Weivoda continues to impress if you see him personally. He always rises to the occasion and big games and plays for his team. For this reason, he is a two -time state champion at the Milton Eagles. I think this year you will see how he is really unleashed and an impact player for the Eagles.

EDGE Quentavios Price- It could be the best secret in high school sports. Man, can this child play? Price, who flashed for the Eagles today, is constantly playing games. Has a really good first step and is physically with his hands. He will probably see some repetitions on the offensive this season too. The 2027 ATH has a high upward trend and will be a large part of the team in 2025.

QB Derek Baker- The three-star quarters is talented and has one of the best deep balls in the state. He just makes it look effortlessly. Baker has a great touch for the ball and the mechanics as a passer -by. He can improvise and play with his legs. Although he is a 2027 QB, it is already moving like a veteran. A young player who has the potential to make a name for himself in 2025.

Ol Joshua Evans- Evans is a name that you notice when you come to Milton. You can see that it is well rounded and is in the next harvest of OL talents to go through the Eagles program. It really has a good size and a frame at 6'3. Milton is known for having almost Tackles and is a large part of their identity as a championship team. You have another who is ready to take on this role.

Ol Landon Gethea- He will be a real newcomer this season, but he is already noticing and makes a coach quite an impression. His physicality is something you see when you see him play. He already ends blocks for children who are older than him, and makes his presence before his first year even begins. He moves like a veteran at a young age and already has good footwork, hands and strength. Gea will be a national view if the ranking for class 2029 comes out.

Wr/Te Grant Haviland– I don't know how many tight ends or recipients see them as an anchor in the offensive line and completely wipe out the defenders from one piece, but Haviland did that during one of his pieces during training. It is more than just a receiving threat. He is the complete package in his position.

Security keel Wonsley- It's time to shine for Wonsley. In youth football, he made himself explosiveness and the ability to play wide receivers. At this level it will be a security and primarily a defensive back. One thing that struck me was that he moved across the field, played in the box and also played free security. This versatility in the backend could soon call College coach, especially if it can have an impact in 2025.

Now it is difficult to mention everyone in such a talented team, but players who are also worth watching Jordan Carrasquilo, DT Christian Hunter, DB Lawson Estes and RB Sheldon Atchison.

I spoke to the two-time state championship head coach Ben Reaves about his general assessment of spring practice.

“Yes, it was a really good day. You know that the goal only comes out and some new faces can learn through open competition. You can see who has gotten better. We have opinions from the boys from the last season, but they worked hard, they worked hard in the offseason. Coordinators will develop programs that fit what we have,” said head coach Ben Reves.

Coach Reaves will have a young group, but one who is very talented and ready for their chances. Hunger is a word that comes to mind

“Yes, it's a good group. It is a hungry group. It is a group that in Milton every year. You never want to let the last group down? Hungry,” said Reaves.

“Due to the depths that we had in the senior class of last year, not much university snapshots have played.

Your slogan of the M -Farn she remains a standard and something that the program holds on.

“Yes, I mean, it is only something we have created. Everyone wants to be on the mountain up and it is difficult to get there. We were lucky enough to be there a few times. As soon as they are there, everyone is ready to cut them off. So it will always be the M against them.

I asked Coach Reaves about his evaluation process and what he would like to achieve with this team when spring practice is over.

Really shopping, shopping into coaching and trusting coaching. “There are many new places. We are trying to find a few children on both sides of the ball who have never played it. Buy yourself into the coaching, buy into the programs that are presented to you,” said Reaves. “Give everything. Trust what we have done, trust the product that we have put on the field, and trust that we can get this team into the ceiling and if you only get there with our coaching -Keep up with our coaching skills.
