Military parade to honor the US Army will fall on Trump's birthday

The White House has confirmed that a military parade will be held on June 14 for the 250th anniversary of the US Army, which falls on the same day as President Donald Trump's birthday.

A “one -day festival” takes place in the National Mall in Washington DC, said a spokesman for the army and added that the event would include 6,600 soldiers, 150 vehicles and 50 planes.

Trump initially hovered a military parade in his first term, but he scraped the idea after reporting that she would have cost around 90 million US dollars (71 million GBP).

On Friday, Trump announced that Veterans Day – known as Remembrance Day in Great Britain – announced as a “Victory Day for the First World War” to celebrate American contributions to the conflict.

The army said that the planning of the military parade was “active” and examined “options to make the celebration even greater, with more ability demonstrations, additional equipment and more examination with the community”. Trump will be 79 on this day.

In 2018 he proposed a military parade for the Veterans Day for the first time.

He said he wanted the United States to visit the Bastille Day Parade in France “Top” to the “Top” parade “on a visit to Paris in 2017.

Local politicians asked for a “ridiculously high” prize, he said, and the idea was given up.

In the meantime, in addition to the renewal of the veterans Day, Trump called the Ve Day as a “Victory Day for World War II” on May 8th.

The announcement was not accompanied by an executive regulation, and it is unclear whether it intends to become a federal vacation for May 8 – a power that lies with the US Congress.

The days marked the end of the First World War in 1918 and the gift of Germany to the Allies in 1945.

In his late evening post, Trump said that “many of our allies and friends celebrate the day of the victory on May 8, but we did more than any other country in the Second World War to achieve a victorious result”.

“We won both wars, nobody was in relation to strength, bravery or military brilliance nearby, but we never celebrate anything,” he added. “This is because we no longer have guides who know how to do this! So we will start celebrating our victories again!”

Later on Friday, the press spokesman for the White House, Karoline Leavitt, seemed to refuse to change the name of the veteran day, and wrote about X: “We will always honor the veteran day and the end of the Second World War and the Second World War remind you as the victory!”

In Great Britain, France, Canada and other parts of the world, 80 years in Great Britain, France, Canada and other parts of the world have taken place since the Second World War officially ended in Europe and shortly after Berlin has fallen to the Soviet forces.

Russia is reminiscent of the occasion as the end of the “great patriotic war”. It is one of the most important holidays in the country and is characterized by a massive parade.

Around 27 million of its citizens died during the war that began in the case of the Soviet Union when Germany marched in in July 1941.

According to statistics that were published online by the US National WWII Museum in New Orleans, around 418,500 Americans were killed in both European and Pacific theaters of the conflict. About 416,000 military victims were of the total number.

The United States has not recognized the VE day. The country was still in war with Japan on the Pacific Front a few months after the conflict in Europe.

The Veterans Day, known as Remembrance Day in Great Britain, was previously known as an armistice in the United States to mark the end of the fights in Europe on November 11, 1918.

After the Second World War and the Korean War, it was renamed to honor all US military veterans. The memorial day, which always falls on the last Monday in May, honors Americans who were killed in the fight.
