The Arlington County Board is considered and acted in several objects in its regular and obvious district sessions. The regular meeting will take place on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. and the meeting on Tuesday, May 13th, 2025, at 1:30 p.m.The meetings that in the County Board Room on the third floor of 2100 Clarendon BLVD. can be held accessible to the public. Comment the agenda points and speak at the session
Please send your written comments on agenda items to the County Board at Cocceoboard@arlingonva.us. All comments received from the board are part of the public records and come from the board members because they take into account objects.

If you would like to comment at the beginning of the regular hearing or to a regular public hearing subject during the public comment period, please register in advance on the County Board website, where you can also find further details on public participation in the virtual board sessions or the board office at number 703-28-3130 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Can call 703-228-3130. Saturday, May 10, 2025 – Regular district board meeting

Article 43 A & B – Clarendon Square Article
The Arlington County Board will consider the takeover of several points in connection with the Clarendon Square location plan (SP #479) in the 3033 Wilson BLVD. Facilitation of the renovation of an office building for a new residential building with eight (8) history with up to 309 units and commercial space on the ground floor.

The developer suggests the following actions (point 43a):

  • A change in the regulations of the Clarendon Revitalization District in the Zoning Ordinance of Arlington County (ACZO) (Section 9.2) to enable a maximum height of 85 feet (in contrast to 75 feet); To reduce the maximum height of 75 feet to 65 feet for the northeastern corner of the site, and to remove the necessary boots on the Wilson Boulevard and the North Highland Street for the property.

  • A rededication of a part of the location of “R-5” to “C-3” in order to consolidate the name “C-3” of the entire location as “C-3”; and related update to ACZO MAP 13-1 to change line A to capture part of the property in the 1418 N. Garfield Street, and

  • A new location plan for a new residential building with eight (8) history with up to 309 residential units and approximately 6,000 square meters on the ground floor on the ground floor, which is built on a parking structure below the class structure that is preserved on the premises after the existing office building was demolished.

In order to make this renovation easier, the applicant also calls for two reliefs (point 43b) for (i) public road and supply purposes or (II) public sidewalk or care purposes.

Tuesday, May 13, 2025 – Recess County Board Board Session

The rejection begins at 1:30 p.m. with a closed session, followed by reports from the Board of Directors and the district manager, which are not heard in front of daily items earlier than 3:30 p.m.

Point 44 – Checks to change the approval and location plan Change for Clarendon facilities
The board will also be considered to take a number of measures in connection with a two-year review of the usage permits and changes to the location plan for live entertainment, dance and outdoor seating for facilities within the Clarendon Live Entertainment Group (CLG).

When accepting this article: Live entertainment (with dance and dancing seats) for two usage permits (reporting agenda 1 & 2); Renewal 17 usage permits for live entertainment (with dancing, outdoor seating and/or possibly correct); and set two usage permits (reporting agenda elements 16 and 19). A table of facilities in the CLEG, its usage permit descriptions and the associated reporting numbers of the reporting agenda can be found on page 6 of the board report.

The CLEGG currently consists of 18 active live entertainment facilities in the Clarendon district. The CLEG meets twice a year, which also includes members of the district employees and members of the municipality in order to find concerns about discussing and solutions for questions in connection with the concentration of live entertainment and dance use within the quarter of Clarendon. In autumn 2024, the district authority authorized the district manager to assign additional funds to the firefighter's office and to codes the enforcement of codes for further nighttime enforcement activities during the hours of live entertainment.

Public hearings
The board of directors will not hold a public hearing earlier than 6:00 p.m. and consider objects that were drawn from the Saturday understanding of understanding. Regular public hearings are held after the declarations of consent have been considered.
