Neighbor remembers the scene from a fatal crash in Wyoming County

Orangeville, NY (Wham)-a traffic stop in Wyoming County became fatal when the police said a suspicious racing from officers in a stolen vehicle before they were involved in a frontal accident.

The Warsaw police said that the driver of a BMW had decreased after the officials had tried to initiate a stopover for traffic violations on Friday morning.

The chief of police of Warsaw, Peter Hoffmeister, said the BMW, who was stolen from Long Island, was so fast that the official could not keep up, and later lost her eyes.

“There was an SUV that was located in the middle of the street that was shot on the side, and she could clearly see that it was hit frontally,” said an anonymous neighbor. “And there was another car that did not know at the time that it was a BMW, was over in the field and was on fire.”

“People said (it went) over 100 miles per hour,” the witness continued.

The BMW broke out into flames after the crash, and the driver was reportedly pulled out of the burning car by good Samariters before he later died in the Wyoming County municipality.

According to the authorities, a passenger in the other vehicle involved died on site.

The neighbor said it wasn't the first time that she has a fatal crash on this street section.

“This is the sad part. I mean, I am always careful every day that I take off here,” she said. “You can see that I am between two hills, so it's not always the easiest to pull yourself out. People accelerate and slower them.”
