Who was Aliza Sherman? The victim stabbed in the city center of Cleveland; Divorce lawyer charged

Cleveland, Ohio (Woio) – Aliza Sherman was stabbed outside of her divorce lawyer in 2013.

Now, 12 years later, an arrest was made in her case.

The nurse

Before her death, Eliza Sherman was a beloved fertility nurse in the Cleveland Clinic.

Sherman started in 2003 in a Beachwood branch of the Cleveland Clinic, where she worked in the IVF surgical department.

Sherman moved to the main branch of the Cleveland Clinic in September 2006.

Sherman has completed her nursing at Cleveland State University.

In 2023, Sherman's daughter Jennifer Sherman founded the Aliza Sherman Fund in the Cleveland Clinic.

The fund goes to patients with Cleveland Clinic and caregivers who have experienced violence.

Aliza Sherman was 53 years old when she died and had four children.

“They told me every time I call, they told me that we were working on it. And they did the job,” said Lash. “And I'm so grateful.”

Jan is looking forward to finally getting the closure she needs.

“I want to staring at him and just let him know that what he did was terrible. He is a monster,” said Lash.
