Winnetka crash: 2 pedestrians killed, a child in the Church Road, the Meadow Road, critically injured, says Sheriff's Office of the Cook County, says Sheriff's Office

Winnetka, Ill. (WLS) – Two female pedestrians were killed and a child in a stroller was critically injured in the northern suburbs on Friday evening on Friday evening.

The crash took place on Friday at 6 p.m. near the Church Road and the Meadow Road in Winnetka, shared the Sheriff of the Cook County.

Two female pedestrians were on the street when a vehicle met them, said the sheriff's office.

A female pedestrian was declared dead at the crime scene and another was declared dead in a hospital, officials said. The child was taken to a hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the vehicle and a passenger were also taken to a hospital in good condition, officials said.

The exact age of the victims was not known.

No further information was available because the authorities were still examined.
