Winnetka Crash kills 2 pedestrians, sends a child to the hospital

Two women were killed and a child was taken to the hospital after having hit a car in Winnetka on Friday evening.

The Cook County's office says that a vehicle that drives south on the Church Road met two adult women and a child in a stroller at around 6 p.m. at the intersection of the Meadow Road – a location in the Indian Hill district.

One woman was declared dead at the crime scene and the other later died in a local hospital, according to the Sheriff's office.

The child in the stroller is said to be in a local hospital in “critical condition”.

The explanation of the sheriff also states that the driver and the only passenger in the vehicle were hospitalized with non -life -threatening injuries.
