The employees who were terminated according to a fatal NC coil tipper truck crash

Eden, NC (WDBJ) – Two employees of the city of Eden ended and a third retirement after a fatal crash in April affected a dump truck in the city.

This crash occurred on April 24 and killed four people and injured two more.

The city of Eden ended the driver of the Muldenkipper Michael Vernon and the superintendent of public work, Elmer “Dusty” Curry.

The city's operations, Darren Gatewood, retired.

These changes in personnel came into force on Friday.

Michael Vernon is suspended in connection with the fatal accident, in which four Duke Energy Contractors were killed. One of these fees includes driving without a valid trading license.

The city said that it was working with the national transportation Safety Board while the examination continues.
