“Donate £ 10 for RCB”: The funny QR code -stunt of the creator becomes viral, fans actually pay | Deployment

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is not only a cricket tournament, but also a full-grown cultural phenomenon in India. With every new season, fans go all to support their teams, and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) remains one of the most discussed franchise companies. Although RCB has a massive fan base and some of the biggest names in Cricket, you still have to win an IPL title, and your fight is both a rally cry and a mem.

On this wave of Fandom and Humor, the content creator Sachak Sachak -Eva drove a social experiment that quickly became viral. He printed out QR codes that were printed with the words “donations donate” £10 for RCB Goodluck ”and they inserted across public places, walls, poles and random street corner.

The video begins with Sarthak putting the QR codes quietly into the city. What begins as an apparently silly idea takes a surprising turn when people actually start to notice the codes, scan them and make payments, everything from RCB's love or maybe just laugh. At the end of the day he received £1,200 of random strangers.

The quirky video has achieved 3.5 million views online. Many went to the comment area to react.

RCB is currently second in the point table with 7 wins from 10 games, all of which have come in away games, proof of their ability to work under pressure. However, their only defeats this season were at home and expressed concerns when they enter the last route of the league. With four games, including three in the Chinnaswamy Stadium M., RCB has to overcome their inconsistent home record in order to maintain the dynamics.
