NBA legend Charles Barkley makes feelings about Luka Doncic clear

Luka Doncic is clearly one of the top ten NBA players.

The Superstar from Los Angeles Lakers could not help the team to come past the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

About ESPNS Sportscenter: “One year after the loss of the NBA finals with the Mavericks, Luka Doncic was bounced down with the Lakers in the first round.”

After the defeat in game 5, the NBA legend Charles Barkley made his feelings clear about Doncic.

Barkley (via the NBA on TNT): “Luka cannot protect a chair … Luka also has to be better in shape … It was a knock. At some point as a player, you can't have the people who say about you. You are an elite player and you can prepare for getting three hundred million dollars … He cannot protect anyone.”

Doncic ended game 5 with 28 points, seven rebounds, nine assists and a steal, while he shot from the field and 2/8 from the three -point range 7/18.

While his offense is always elite, his defense continues to question.

About Dan Woike from Los Angeles Times: “Between James' knee injury, Luka Doncic's back injury and a unadorned toe injury that Austin Reaves played through in the last two games in the series, the Lakers would be pretty beaten if they had enforced a game 6.”

Doncic ended his seventh NBA season with an average of 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 7.7 assists and 1.8 steals per competition, while he shot 45.0% from the field and 36.8% from the three-point range in 50 games.
