Comics, Big Boi and Uncle D.

Savannah, Ga. (WSAV) – Superheroes are what connects the local trend stories this week.

First this weekend we have two events for comic fans.

Superstar Comic Con will come to the Savannah Convention Center on Saturday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 4th. There will be a litany of guests of all artists and performers who have brought their favorite comic and fantasy characters to life.

If you don't make it too great, there is still a pleasure for you. Neighborhood comics will give away free comics on Saturday. Visitors can take five books, but if you make a donation of used men's dresses, you have to take ten comics.

Next, a hero from Savannah gets special recognition. At the beginning of this week it was announced that the HIP Hop Outkast group will be included in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in November.

Founding member Big Boi comes from the Hostess City and a particularly proud relative sounded his nephew, who received the honor.

Finally, the digital producer Dylan James from WSAV says goodbye and offers the digital production team special thanks.
