A driver who was identified from a fatal crash near the Yellowstone National Park

One of the drivers who are involved in a fatal crash near Yellowstone National Park was identified.

The driver, who was involved in a fatal crash near Henry's Lake, was identified as 25-year-old Isaih Moreno from Humble, Texas, according to the Idaho State Police (ISP) and the Coroner by Fremont County. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday evening on the US Highway 20 and included a Dodge Ram pickup and a Mercedes passenger car.

The crash, which took place at 7:15 p.m. at Milepost 399, led to the death of Moreno and six people from the van. The van, who operated as a travel vehicle, wore 14 inmates. Three of the seven injuries were flown to hospitals in Bozeman, Montana and Idaho Falls, Idaho, while the remaining occupants were brought to local hospitals with non -life -threatening injuries.

A member of the Sheriff of the Fremont County arrived shortly after the crash and with the help of the spectators helped the injured residents when the Van Feuer caught, said ISP.

“Due to the complexity of the incident, the identification of all people involved and the notification of their next relatives will take advantage of time,” said ISP. “ISP will continue to provide verified information on behalf of the Coroner's Office of the Fremont County. The forensic doctor's office does not conduct any interviews in connection with this crash.”

The US Highway 20 was closed for almost seven hours because the rescue workers and the Idaho Transportation Department managed the scene and cleared the street. Since then, the highway has been open to regular traffic.

The ISP continues its investigation of the cause of the collision and will provide updates as soon as further information is available.
