MG Windsor EV Pro pictures are leaked before the start

JSW MG Motor India is expanding the selection of Windsor EV with the introduction of a new Pro version. This new iteration of the vehicle is known as MG Windsor EV Pro and will be launched in India on May 6th. Before the official event, the EV was spied on without camouflage and brings a variety of upgrades to the current iteration of the vehicle. This is seen in the form of changes in the drive train, slight changes in aesthetics and an extended list of characteristics.

First, the electric vehicle is equipped with a larger battery. The car currently has a 38 kWh battery that is updated to a 50.6 kWh version. This battery is used in the model available in Indonesia, which is referred to as the Wuling Cloud EV. It offers a longer range of up to 460 km on a single load. For comparison, the 38kWh -Akku offers an area of ​​332 km.

In the meantime, the performance specifications will remain the same. An electric motor with 136 hp and 200 Nm torque is expected. This performance is transferred to the front wheels to move the vehicle forward. With regard to the aspects that remain unchanged, the MG Windsor EV will keep its existing look. However, we can predict some updates such as a new color option. The leaked images also confirm the presence of new alloy wheels.

The pictures also confirmed that the Windsor EV Pro receives changes in the cabin. The images of the interior show a new light -colored interior. This is in contrast to the black interior that is offered on the standard version of the vehicle. Apart from that, the list of functions now contains Adas. This is confirmed by the presence of an ADAS badge on the tailgate of the vehicle.

The car manufacturer has also confirmed that the MG Windsor EV Pro will be equipped with vehicle and vehicle-to-vehicle technology. The V2L functions enable the owner to supply devices with the performance of the car. In the meantime, the V2V can be used to share energy between compatible vehicles.

The current version of the MG Windsor EV is available at a starting price of 9.99 Lakh (ex-showroom) and can reach up to 16 Lakh (ex-showroom). Due to the changes mentioned, the Windsor EV Pro Pro has a higher price.
