Francis Ngannou published an explanation of the motorcycle accident in which the 17-year-old girl was killed

Francis Ngannou published an explanation of the “heartbreaking” death of a 17-year-old girl in Cameroon after having met her with his motorcycle.

The MMA and Boxing star drove through the city of Yaoound on the Easter weekend when he reported a pedestrian named NTSama Brigitte Manuella in the local media. He hurried to the Yaound General Hospital and paid her medical treatment, but she did not survive her injuries.

In a statement by TMZ Sports, Ngannou said: “From the beginning I was at the side of the family and offer support, comfort and deeply condolences during this time. I met them privately with them to take part in their grief, and I will continue to stand with them every step of the way.”

Ngannou did not explain any details of the incident that the police examined.

He added: “I wear your pain with myself and my unshakable thoughts and my support stay with you while you look forward to this heartbreaking loss.”

Ngannou, a former UFC champion, gave his box debut in October 2023 when he accepted Tyson Fury. The camerooner dropped anger before losing a controversial decision and did not take the WBC heavyweight title from the British.

Then, in March 2024, Ngannou had a completely different experience against the former champion Anthony Joshua and suffered three knockdowns from a loss of the second round.

The 38 -year -old Ngannou then returned to mixed martial arts in October and stopped Renan Ferreira in round one to become a PFL Super Fights Heavyweight Champion -almost three years after leaving the UFC title.

After defeating Ferreira, Ngannou devoted the victory to his late son Kobe, who died at the age of only 15 months at the age of 2024.

“The last two days have been very hard, full of emotions, I couldn't do anything without thinking about it [Kobe’s passing]”, Said Ngannou.” I tried to stay strong and to say that I should do everything to keep in motion, but it is difficult. It is difficult.

“I just led this fight because of him. I wanted to fight for him … I hope you can remember his name, because without a cob we weren't here, I would not have fought.”
