Greenwich Village, Manhattan (WABC) – A man was stabbed into the upper body after a fight in a U -Bahn train broke out by Manhattan.

It happened on Friday at 4.45 p.m. on the West 4th Street-Washington Square in Greenwich Village.

The police say that the 46-year-old victim and a 42-year-old suspect had a verbal argument on the train to the north, which led to a physical struggle. The 46-year-old was once stabbed in the stomach.

The officials were put down and the suspect was detained.

The victim was taken to the hospital with non -life -threatening injuries.
