St. Louis (AP)-Cam Fowler, Brayden Schnn and Nathan Walker scored the second period in 2:13 a.m. and the St. Louis Blues defeated the Winnipeg Jets 5-2 on Friday evening to force a game 7 in the first round.

Philip Broberg had a goal and a template, Alexey Toropchenko also scored a goal and Jordan Binnington scored 21 parades for St. Louis, who will return to Winnipeg for the decisive game on Sunday evening.

Cole Perfetti and Nino Niderreiter scored 18 parades for Winnipeg and Connor Hellebuyck before he was pulled after the second period for Eric Comrie, who scored four parades. Hellebuyck is 0-7, while he has allowed at least four goals in each of his last seven street playoff starts.

“Tonight it wasn't about Connor,” said Jets coach Scott Arniel. “We imploded in front of him tonight, and now it's a game showdown.”

Perfetti scored his first goal of the playoffs with a power play 5:43 in the second period to bind the number of points 1: 1.

Walker covered St. Louis with his third of the series with 8:26 in the period and Schenn got his second after -season 53 seconds later to achieve it with 3-1.

Fowler scored his second goal of the Playoffs with 6:20 in the second half to create a lead of three goals. Fowler has a point in all six games in the series, and its 10 points are most in a series for a defender in the franchise story.

Toropchenko brought St. Louis' 4-goal period with 3:03 in the second.

“We just had to check the swing there,” said Walker. “I think after achieving the Power Play goal, we were a little flat and then we came out, took the momentum back and just ran with it.”

The home team won each of the first six games in this series.

Broberg scored his first goal of the playoffs in the first goal of the blues in the game of the game 6:05 in the first period to bring St. Louis 1-0.

“I thought it was a great game from Faulk to drive far, and that is this speed we talk about, and then we let the people go through and were able to have this puck on high and pound,” said Blues coach Jim Montgomery. “It was really important because I didn't like the beginning of our first 8-10 minutes, then we started to come after this goal.”

Arniel called a time crossing immediately after the goal, but decided not to challenge the piece for goalkeeper interference when Pavel Buchnevich was brought into the fold by Dylan Samberg.

Morgan Barron seemed to achieve the binding goal for 29 seconds in the second period. However, the goal was lifted after St. Louis had questioned the play when the officials decided that Mason Appleton had entered the blues zone before Barron entered the puck.

The striker of Jets Nikolaj Ehlers returned to the line -up after missing the last two regular season games from Winnipeg and the first five games of the playoffs with a right foot injury.
