5 great new Netflix shows that can be seen in May 2025

Every month, Netflix treats us with new content whether it is original series Foreign things or programming of other platforms Sex and the city.

Here are some of the new shows on Netflix that you should not miss in May 2025.

“The four seasons” (May 1st)

This new dramedy of Tina Fey is a remake of 1981 Alan Alda Film of the same name. Both in the new and in the original versions, four couples have the tradition of going on a quarterly vacation together – but the routine is out of balance if one of them (Steve Carell in this restart) announces that he leaves his wife (Kerri Kenney silverPresent Reno 911!).

Mara Brock Akil ((Friends, Moesha) is the most important creative force behind this modernized version of history, which is playing in Los Angeles in 2018. Forever was often the subject of controversy because of its open representation of sexuality between the two teenagers. It will be fascinating to see how Akil adapts the 1975 book for its new modern environment.

The two young leads are played appropriately by some fresh faces – Lovie Simone ((Greenleaf) plays Keisha (a newly interpreted version of The Book Katherine) and newcomer Michael Cooper Jr. Plays Justin (named Michael in the original book). The trailer promises a dreamy, romantic series with all the emotional depth and nuance flower is known and loved.

'Blood of Zeus' season 3 (May 8th)

The last season of Netflix 'Greek mythology -anime series will fall on May 8th. Blood from Zeus follows Heron (Derek Phillips, Friday night light) A demigod and a son of Zeus. The series combines classic Greek mythology with new turns such as carnivorous demons and a war between the gods.

At the end of the second season, Gaia (the mother of all gods) left the old unit, which is known as a typhon and all gave all gods – as well as the people and even the spirits in the underworld.
