The Thornton police are looking for the driver in the street rage that the wounded man shoots

Thornton, Colorado. – The police in Thornton are looking for a driver of whom they said that on Friday evening he turned and wounded another driver of the street during an incident.

The police said an oral anger change between two drivers to a shootout at 5:50 p.m. at the intersection of E. 104th Avenue and the Colorado Boulevard.

The alleged shooter, who was called a short, “chubby” Hispanic man with long hair, pulled out a pistol and shot at the other driver, hitting him in his arm.

The police said that a woman and a young person were in the victim's vehicle at the time of the shootout, but they were intact.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious but not life -threatening injuries.

After the shootout, the suspect withdrew with black rims in a red or chestnut brown jeep Grand Cherokee. A license plate number was not received.
