“CBI examines the cases in connection with the Neet UG 2024 examination in which some MBBS students are involved in serious misconduct.

“In view of the severity of these violations and their potential to undermine the credibility of the medical training system, the National Medical Commission issued instructions to the medical universities and institutions concerned in order to immediately complain about the 26 MBBS students who were as demanding. Further further students showed off for an AY 2024-25.

The cases, which were identified as unfair means (UFM) of National Testing Agency (NTA) -the agency that carried out Neet UG examination, were examined in detail by the UFM Committee by NTA, whereupon NTA has been reduced by the NEET (UG) for three years.

In addition, there have been nine candidates for two years, i.e. 2025 and 2026.

The states on which these medical universities belong were not mentioned in the note.

“The Commission reaffirms its zero tolerance policy to academic fraud and is committed to taking all necessary measures to safeguard integrity, transparency and accountability for medical approvals,” says the note.
