The Neu -Delhi National Medical Commission (NMC) led the suspension of 26 MBBS students on Friday and canceled the approval of 14 first semester of various medical universities across the country, which, according to the matter, who are familiar with the matter, were involved in Neet UG 2024. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) examines the matter and the measures against error students were taken based on their role in the investigative authority, they said.

“CBI examines the cases in connection with the Neet UG 2024 examination in which some MBBS students are involved in serious misconduct.

“In view of the severity of these violations and their potential to undermine the credibility of the medical training system, the National Medical Commission issued instructions to the medical universities and institutions concerned in order to immediately complain about the 26 MBBS students who were as demanding. The cases, which were identified as unfair means (UFM) of National Testing Agency (NTA) -the agency that carried out Neet UG examination, were examined in detail by the UFM Committee by NTA, whereupon NTA has been reduced by the NEET (UG) for three years.

“The Commission reaffirms its zero tolerance policy to academic fraud and is committed to taking all necessary measures to safeguard integrity, transparency and accountability for medical approvals,” says the note.
