5 stabbed in Chicago Lawn; Police say 2 in custody

The stitch occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday in Kedzie's 6300 block, the police said.

According to the Chicago police, the crime occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday near the 62nd and the Avenue Kedzie.

The police said a fight between two groups became violent when a woman took out a sharp object and started to prick people.

A 47-year-old man was stabbed into the left eye and taken to a hospital in a critical condition.

Three other men aged 31, 37 and 36 were also injured in the stitches, but will probably be fine.

According to the CPD, a woman also had an injury to her forehead and refused medical help.

The police said two women were taken into custody. Fees are still pending.
