Drake Powell deserves inviting to the NBA Draft Combine, while two former Tar Heels are sniffed

The National Basketball Association announced its list of 75 participants for the NBA design of 2025 Combine, which will take place in the Wintrust Arena and Marriott Marquis in Chicago from May 11th to May 18th.

As part of the THGE league collective agreement, all invited players must participate and participate in the NBA design combination.

Drake Powell will be among this year's participants because she is the only former UNC basketball basketball to receive an invitation.

In his only season in Chapel Hill, Powell had an average of 7.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. He shot 48.3% of the field and 37.9% from the three -point area, the third highest percentage from the team in the team.

While Powell's invitation should not be a surprise, you could be surprised to hear that the former Tar -Fersenses wasters RJ Davis and Caleb Love have not received an invitation to the event.

We have already seen this story with people like Armando Bacot and Brady Manek. You could do the case that both players belong in the league, but the opportunity did not appear. In the case of Bacot, his statistics in the G-League speaks this season about how much his game has improved, but not a single call came in his way.

Although they did not receive invitations to the NBA -draft combine, Davis and Love should still arouse interest from NBA teams. While they may not be selected in the upcoming NBA design, both still have the chance to play professionally, be it in the G-League or overseas.

In the case of Powell, this is a big week of events because the former Tar Heel has to prove that he has made the right choice to enter his name in the NBA design of 2025.
