Cook County Crash: Autohits, kills 2 pedestrians, critically injures the child in Winnetka

Winnetka, sick. – – Two female pedestrians were killed and a child was critically injured when she hit a car in the northern suburb of Winnetka on Friday evening.

According to the Cook County's Sheriff, the crash occurred near the intersection with Meadow Road.

What we know:

At around 6 p.m. the car drove south on the Church Road and hit the two female pedestrians and the child who was in a stroller.

One of the pedestrians died at the scene.

The other died in a local hospital.

The child was listed in a local hospital in a critical condition.

The driver and the cars of the car were also brought to a local hospital to treat non -life -threatening injuries, the police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner office identified one of the pedestrians as Sediqeh Samadi, 37.

The other pedestrian had not been identified by Saturday morning.

The police said there was no indication of a bad game, but the examination of the crash continues to be going on.

It was unclear what caused the crash.
