Cook County Crash: Autohits, kills 2 pedestrians, critically injures the child in Winnetka

Two female pedestrians were killed and a child was critically injured when she hit a car in the northern suburb of Winnetka on Friday evening.

According to the Cook County's Sheriff, the crash occurred near the intersection with Meadow Road.

What we know:

At around 6 p.m. the car drove south on the Church Road and hit the two female pedestrians and the child who was in a stroller.

One of the pedestrians died at the scene.

The other died in a local hospital.

The child was listed in a local hospital in a critical condition.

The driver and the cars of the car were also brought to a local hospital to treat non -life -threatening injuries, the police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner office identified one of the pedestrians as Sediqeh Samadi, 37.

The other pedestrian had not been identified by Saturday morning.
