Chicago crimes: 5 stabbed during the fight on the southwest side, says the police, the police say

Five people were stabbed during a dispute on the city's southwest side around midnight, the police said.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the stitch occurred in the 6200 block of the South Kedzie Avenue in the Chicago Lawn district.

What we know:

The police responded to a reputation from several people who were stabbed at the scene and found victims with injuries.

The officials learned that there was a verbal argument between two groups that became physically when a 29-year-old woman injured several people with a sharp object, the police said.

There were five victims, including:

  • A 47-year-old man who was stabbed in the left eye and brought in a critical state in Christ Hospital
  • A 31-year-old man who stabbed the face and brought into the Christian Hospital in a fair state
  • A 37-year-old man who had a punctuality wound on his left hand and was brought to the medical center of the University of Chicago in a fair state
  • A 36-year-old man was stabbed the left side of his head and back and rejected medical treatment.
  • A woman was stabbed in the forehead and rejected medical treatment

According to the police, a 47-year-old woman also hit several victims with a closed fist.

Officials arrested both perpetrators.

One of the criminals was brought to a holy cross hospital in good condition due to a substance sprayed during the argument.
