Lou Gram licks the real reason for Kelly Hansen's absence of Foreigner Tour

Lou Gramm, former foreigner singer, shared new details about Kelly Hansen's tour in an interview with Igor Miranda.

“I think Luis Maldonado will sing the majority of the songs,” said Gramm. “Kelly won't be there because he has married lately, and I think he spends time with his new family.”

“Since it is the second last tour for Foreigner, as we know it, they asked me to be part of it, and I like the opportunity to do that,” he continued. “Now we now have a different face and a different mix of foreigners. I think it will be very exciting.”

Hansen had previously offered another explanation for his limited international appearances. In a statement published by Blabbermouth, he quoted “Residency problems” as the reason. “We had a great start to our tour year with a sold -out run in Florida, and I'm really looking forward to continuing my trip with this incredible band,” said Hansen. “However, some Residency problems have forced me to limit the appearances outside the USA this year, and this means that I will miss some international shows.”

The changes to the list agree with a significant moment in the history of the foreigner. The band continues its extended farewell tour.

The American songwriter unveiled the farewell tour in the end of 2025. This expansion is a significant chapter in the band's legacy.

The tour offers special appearances by starting the keyboardist Al Greenwood and the former bass players Rick Wills. These performances take place at selected shows, including their residence in Las Vegas.

Parade emphasized an innovative development in the tour. Luis Maldonado plans to carry out selected foreign hits in Spanish for Spanish-speaking regions. This addition brings a new perspective to the band's classic repertoire.

The current tour schedule shows the commitment of the foreigner to create an unforgettable farewell experience. The performances combine past and current members in a unique musical celebration.
