Cruisin 'to help Project Salina

This roaring from downtown Salina on Friday evening was not the sound of thunder or anything dominated, it was the sound of motor vehicles of all kinds, “cruises for one thing”.

Meridian Media Radio Sends formed with Nex-Tech Wireless to align the event. This was the unofficial prelude to the efforts to collect food for Project Salina throughout May.

The Kreuzfahrtstraße pushed from the convenory store from Rod in South Santa Fe to the Temple parking lot.

The event should contribute to the project that Salina has a good start. Project Project Project combines Salina several companies and organizations to collect food for five agencies that serve or distribute food all year round.

This year the need is even greater for the six agencies that feed Salina's hunger. The agencies include:

  • Ashby House
  • Salina Rescue Mission
  • Salina emergency aid bank
  • Salina Heilsarme
  • Domestic violence association of Central Kansas
  • Salina Grace

Many of these cruises brought food to donate or left cash donations for the matter.

Meridian Media radio station provided the music, while the employees of the station and Project Salina offer volunteers who offer the “muscles”.

A similar “intersection for one thing” is planned for May 30th.
