Winnetka crash: Sediqeh Samadi identified as 1 of 2 pedestrians killed, child in Church Road, Meadow Road, critically injured

The crash took place on Friday at 6 p.m. near the Church Road and the Meadow Road in Winnetka, shared the Sheriff of the Cook County.

Two female pedestrians were on the street with a child in a stroller when a vehicle met them, the sheriff's office said. Both women died, officials said.

The child was taken to a hospital in a critical condition.

On Saturday one of the victims was identified by the 37 -year -old Sediqeh Samadi.

The driver of the vehicle and a passenger were also taken to a hospital in good condition, officials said.

No further information was available because the authorities were still examined.
