Iran censors Israel's attack on the Gaza-bound auxiliary ship before Malta

Iran condemned Israel's “obvious crime” in the implementation of a drone attack on a ship bound in Gaza with humanitarian aid and activists off the coast of Malta in international waters.

In a statement on Saturday, the spokesman for the Foreign Ministry said Esmaeil Baghaei that the drone attack was “an obvious crime against the people of Palestine and a terrorist law against the security and security of the lake”.

A ship that belongs to the flotilla of the Gaza freedom was attacked by an Israeli drone strike in international waters near Malta, while trying to bring humanitarian aid to the Belsieden Palestinian territory. The attack caused an explosion and a fire.

The Maltese government said the fire was brought under control and added that 16 people were on board. But the Freedom Flotille Coalition said that 30 people were on board the ship when it was attacked and added that the targeted ship had sent an emergency signal.

Baghaei said that the attack was part of the genocides and colonial plan against the Palestinian people to ensure the continuation of the food and the medical blockage of innocent people in Gaza.

The Israeli regime continues its genocide in the Gaza by dropping bombs and imposing famine for the strip, he said.

“The wounded, sick and grieving children and women in the Gaza of food, water and medicine are a clear example of a war crime and a crime against humanity,” emphasized the spokesman.

The blockade also represents a violation of the principles of international humanitarian law, he added.

He said the United States and other supporters of the Israeli regime were involved in this crime.

Baghaei expressed the sympathy of Iran with the oppressed Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank.

Iran calls on the international community and the Muslim countries to firmly condemn the attack of Israel, to prepare the reason that the officials of the regime put an end to impunity and pursue and punish them, he emphasized.

In March, the Prime Minister of the Israeli regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, banned the aids in Gaza in order to put pressure on the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, to accept the first stage of the ceasefire contract in which Israel broke.

The Israeli minister, who is responsible for military matters, Israel Katz, recently said that no preparations were made to bring supplies to the strip. He added that the regime would not allow humanitarian aid to get into Gaza Strip, and confirms that food is used as pressure of pressure against Hamas.

Israel has blocked food, medicine and other critical care in Gaza for weeks.

Auxiliary agencies say that there are concerns about adult famine that takes up Palestinian territory in the blockades.
