Cyclists seriously injured in the crash of Pittsfield

A cyclist was hospitalized after a crash on Friday evening in Pittsfield with life -threatening injuries.

Around 8:39 p.m. on Friday, the police authority of Pittsfield, the fire brigade of Pittsfield and the Action Ambulance Ambulance reacted to the Cheshire Road in front of the Berkshire Gas Company for a report on a car accident with a cyclist. Preliminary investigations showed that the 18-year-old driver of a 2008 Subaru Impreza drove a 33-year-old cyclist north to the north. As a result of the collision, the cyclist was transported to the Berkshire Medical Center for potentially life -threatening injuries on his head and was approved.

The Cheshire RD was closed between Williamsburg Terrace and Greenwich Street for about four hours, while the accident was examined and clarified. The road was opened on Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
