The largest event in horse racing is here. The 151st run of the Kentucky Derby will take place in the historic Churchill Downs on Saturday. Which horse will be at the top?

The early favorite for this year's Kentucky Derby is journalism that will come out of place # 8. The winner of the Santa Anita Derby had 3: 1 in morning. The horse is trained by Michael W. McCarthy and driven by Umberto Rispoli.

Other competitors include two horses that begin side by side on the outside. From post No. 17, Sandman sits at 6: 1 for coach Mark e Casse and Jockey Jose Ortiz. In addition to him in Post No. 18, sovereignty, trained by William I Mott and Junior Alvarado. The horse was opened at 5-1 on Saturday morning.

For the first time since 2003, there is no Todd Platcher Horse in the field. This is because Grande, the runner -up from the Wood Memorial, was scratched on Friday with a heel injury.

Coach Bob Baffert returns from his suspension. One of his horses, Rodriguez, has already scratched, but he still has civic bulls on the field.
