The sheriff's office arrested 25 in the mission to commands of crime; 4,500 US dollars of stolen goods recovered

On Thursday, May 1, 2025, officials and investigators from the Sheriff office of Clackama County headed a retail criminal mission, which on several retailers in the SE 82nd Ave in the non -legal Clackamas County near Se Johnson Creek Blvd. concentrated. CCSO was supported in this mission by investigators from the police authorities Molalla and West Linn.

During the 10-hour mission, the law enforcement authorities contacted people who were suspected for theft and other crimes than they left retailers in this area. The mission led to 25 arrests on a series of fees, the location of 124 stolen objects worth more than 4,500 US dollars and the approval of 24 arrests. Some of the test subjects taken in custody were found in the possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

It was found that one of the test subjects for theft has committed 12 previously reported thefts of the same retailer since November 2024 with a total value of almost 1,300 US dollars. This subject had not been identified from the previous reported theft incidents because he was taken into custody during this mission that he had identified, and these additional incidents are presented to the public prosecutor's office of Clackama's district for law enforcement.

Another topic that was taken into custody during the mission committed goods worth more than $ 300 from a retailer. It was found that in 2024 this topic committed several passing steels from retailers and spirits transactions within Clackamas County of a total of over 1,900 dollars. These incidents from 2024 are currently being checked by the Clackamas County public prosecutor.

The office and evidence technician of a sheriff played an important role in cataloging and processing recessed evidence. A dedicated dispatcher from Clackamas 9-1-1 (C-Com) did communication support.

The mission on Thursday was partially financed by Oregon Senate Bill 900 (2023) and was financed by the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission on Thursday. The Clackamas County's office received funds for the 2024-25 financial year, with which personnel and equipment for law enforcement agencies and other efforts to combat organized retail theft and account.
