Vallejo-Bethel games lead the highlights of the week An-Times Herald Online

After the baseball team of the Vallejo High School lost a hard game against Hercules last Friday, head coach Josh Ramos was asked: “How will your team get back to this defeat and jumped back next week?”

“It will be easy to achieve the players for the next week because we have Bethel,” said Ramos with a grin. “So the boys will be excited and have so much energy to play their cross-town rivals. So this game will have no disappointment and it will be exciting to see it.”

High school baseball and softball

American Canyon plays two baseball games with Petaluma this week, on the road with the Tuesday game on the street and the Thursday game.

Benicia will play softball against Northgate on Tuesday and on Thursday. The Panthers still have a few weeks in the regular season and are 3-1 in the Diablo Valley Athletic League.

Boys'

Benicia is 8-2 in the Diablo Valley League and prepares for a likely playoff run. The Panthers play at home twice this week – Tuesday against the Ygnacio Valley and on Thursday against Alhambra.

Vallejo's athletics team has a league meeting in DE ANZA on Thursday, while Benicia is in Campolindo at the Diablo Athletic League championship processes on Saturday.

NBA playoffs
