Personal of London Thomas arrested for separate charges in Novi

A second person of interest in connection with the death of Detroit Teen London Thomas was taken into custody on Saturday in Novi for separate charges.

The 23-year-old's lawyer was arrested because he allegedly submitted a wrong police report a year ago. The lawyer called this outrageously.

During the indictment, the deputy prosecutor of Wayne County, Anna Merigian, told the court that there is video evidence to have lied to the police.

The Pendergrass lawyer joined her name during the indictment in a non -guilty plea. The judge determined a bond of 50,000 US dollars in bar guarantee and said that she had to have a GPS -Tether and no contact with witnesses if they are released on bond.

“Between April 5, 2025 and April 24, 2025, it is claimed that the accused Pendergrass did not investigate the FBI agent with the truth, while they carried out a criminal investigation by London's death. Aspects of the case are currently being investigated, and no further information is currently being published,” said Wayne County's public prosecutor.

The likely cause of Pendergrass is planned for Wednesday, May 7th.

Pender grass is one of two suspects arrested on Saturday. In court on Friday, a lawyer reported that both were released from prison on Friday morning. Pender grass was later taken into custody because of the indictment with which it is now exposed.

In this case, Thomas' family is now responding to this latest development.

“I want justice for my granddaughter, and I know that she is lying. I know that she has something to do with the death of my granddaughter,” said Thomas' grandmother Jestina Martin.

The lawyer who represented the suspect also spoke about the case with 7 news Detroit on Friday.

Johnson said neither of his two customers were the right person. According to reports, the couple was originally taken into custody and brought to the Detroit Detention Center on Saturday evening after the investigators found Thomas's 17-year-old body.
