Cavalier's list Darius Garland as questionable for game 1 against Pacers

Trainer Kenny Atkinson said that Darius Garland's status for the start of the series will probably be a decision for the season.

Independence, Ohio (AP) – Darius Garland is classified as questionable for the Cleveland Cavaliers Half -final of the Eastern Conference against the Indiana Pacers on Sunday evening.

The All-Star Wachmann deals with a bricked Big Toe. He missed the last two games of the first round of the Miami heat in the first round after he was traveling in the last two games of the regular season because of the same injury.

Garland did not train on Saturday after going through a full session on Friday. Trainer Kenny Atkinson said that the status of the 6-foot 1 professional in the sixth year would probably be a decision for the season.

“We are only in this type of area where you can only see and see every day every day what it feels like tomorrow morning,” said Atkinson after training on Saturday.

Garland achieved an average of 20.6 points and 6.7 templates during the regular season. He scored 27 points in the Cavaliers' 121-100 victory over the heat on April 20 in the opening game of the series.

Atkinson said Garland probably has to deal with the injury to the rest of the playoffs.

“The toe is a difficult one,” said Atkinson. “There is pain and it all. But the good thing when we see him shoot it is moving well.”

Sam Merrill or Isaac Okoro would get the start if Garland cannot play. Merrill has started the last two games.
