Fiever trainer praises the influence of Caitlin Clark, even if it fails due to injuries

Caitlin Clark may not have played in the opening game of the Indiana Fever before the season because of an undervint injury, but did not stop her from taking an influence during the team of 79: 74 victory against the Washington Mystics.

Clark's injury could not prevent her from contributing to her team. Although Clark is rightly recognized for her outstanding game most of the time, her leadership shone when she was out of the game from the game on Saturday.

Fever trainer Stephanie White praised Clark after the game, especially for her communication with teammates and trainers.

“First, their communication was excellent,” White told the media. “See different things to be on the ground and able to communicate that in Huddle. I heard many different voices, but if they don't play there is a different perspective and I had the feeling that she did a really good job with her teammates, and she did a really good job with us in the coach.

White added that during the game she felt at a point where Clark wanted to come and play in uniform, but of course that didn't happen because of her injury. White Castle Clark not for the fever's second pre -season game on Sunday, a matchup against the Brazilian national team at Clarks Alma Mater from Iowa.
