The cladding scandal still keeps its strength to shock a shock

IT has been 16 years since a fire through the Lakanal House in Camberwell, Südlondon, was carried through and killed six people. That was almost a decade before the tragedy of the Grenfell Tower. Last year, the Grenfell examination came to the conclusion that the three manufacturers of their cladding system were involved with “systematic dishonesty”. However, only today can details be revealed, such as the company used behind the cladding that was used in Lacanal House, which British buyers provided misleading safety information – and only thanks to an examination of Sunday times.

We report that TRespa, which belongs to a family of Dutch billionaires, delivered its high-pressure laminate cladding without revealing that it was only considered safe if it was not combined with flammable insulation and was not used in a high-rise like a lacanal house.
