Carmelo Anthony joins NBC Sports as an NBA analyst

Carmelo Anthony appears as a studio analyst for the revitalized NBA reporting of the network in the list of NBC Sports and Peacock.

The 10-fold NBA All-Star appeared on Saturday at reporting on NBC Sports about the Kentucky Derby and announced that from October it will be one or more nights a week in the studio.

“A new chapter starts @nbaonnbc this autumn,” wrote Anthony on X with a video in which he teased his new appearance.

After more than two decades in other networks, the NBA will return to NBC this autumn. Anthony remembered the influence that the network's reporting on him as a child.

“The NBA on the growing up of the NBA shaped my love for the game,” he said. “Now I am thrilled to join the NBC Sports family. I have always used my platform to expand the game, and I am happy to bring the fans a new perspective because we initiate a new era of NBA reporting and programming.”

During the show on Saturday, Anthony said that he was most excited to “only build one team, to get back into a team-oriented aspect”, after Jamal Crawford and Reggie Miller NBA will join NBC game analysts. Mike Trico and Noah Eagle will also act as play-by-play analysts.

“Talking to the game, speaking and finding out what the” why “is about what many people do, what many players do in the game,” added Anthony. “I think the game in the game has to be talked about.”

Anthony, who was designed in 2003 as the selection of the first round by Denver Nuggets, ended his 19th-season NBA career in 2022 with the Los Angeles Lakers. Since his retirement, he has been discussing the league about his league 7 p.m. in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony Podcast.
