3 teenagers arrested after the 14-year-old boy was fatally shot near Conroe

A 15-year-old boy is in custody who is charged with murder of a 14-year-old boy near Conroe. The incident unfolded in the 11900 block of the Douget Road in the early Saturday morning at around 1:00 a.m.

The MPs say that the young victim was on the street with several gunshot wounds when they arrived. Despite her efforts to save him, the 14-year-old died at the scene.

The investigators quickly turned into work and identified a 15-year-old suspect from Conroe.

An arrest warrant against his arrest was issued, and a search of his house led to two other suspects: 19-year-old James Fuller and Mason Goodwin, also by Conroe.

The young suspect was brought to the Montgomery County youth criminal center, where he is suspended before a murder suspicion. Fuller and Goodwin were arrested without incidents and booked into Montgomery County's prison for the same charges.

Sheriff Doolittle described the crime as “heartbreaking” and “senseless” and praised the quick work of his MPs and the public prosecutor to capture the suspects.

While the MPs say that the investigation shows that the shootout may have been associated with a personal dispute, the full motif is still being examined.
