The new musical was opened on April 27 at James Earl Jones Theater after started on April 1st. Newcomer Córdoba Stars as an ambitious high school senior Ana Garcia. The musical comes from Josefina López 'game from 1993, which also had a 2002 film version. Read the reviews here.

With a score by Joy Huerta and Benjamin Velez and a book by Lisa Loomer with Nell Benjamin, the work is followed by a child of the first generation of Mexican immigrants of the first generation, which were torn between joining the family clothing business or their own dream of college in NYC.

The project is headed by Sergio Trujillo, which is directed by directing and choreography. Machado plays Carmen Garcia, Ana's hardworking mother, who imagines a traditional life for her daughter. Córdoba and Macado are from Florencia Cuenca as Estela, Shelby Acosta as Prima Flaca, Carla Jimenez as Pancha, Aline Mayagoitia as Itzel, Mason Reeves (Freen) as Henry, Jennifer Sánchez, Sandra Valls as Prima Fulvia and Mauricio and Mauclez as Raulisa, Asrails as Prichils as Puricha, and Mauricio Asrails as Prichils as Prichils as Prichais. Cuenca, Jimenez, Mayagoitia, Reeves and Valls all give their Broadway debuts in production, and all of them repeat their achievements from the world premiere of musical 2024.

The company also includes Ariana Burks, Quincy Hampton, Zeus Mendoza, Claudia Mulet, Christopher M. Ramirez, Monica Tulia Ramirez, Shadia Fairuz, Elisa Galindz and Omar Madden.

Kim, Hair, Hair, Hair, Hair, Hair, Hair, WIG, and make-up design by Krystal Balleza, and Orchestrations by Digiallonardo, Huerta, Rich Mercurio and Velez. Casting takes place by the Victor Vazquez from X Casting and Duncan Stewart from ARC.

Tripp Phillips acts as a production stage manager with BJ Holt as General Manager and Alecia Parker as an executive producer.
