Police are looking for suspects after Ms. in St. Paul's Frogtown district was found dead

The St. Paul police arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found on Friday morning in a house in the city of Frogtown in the city, together with an uninhibited 2-year-old girl.

The man was said to Ramsey County's prison on Saturday morning because of the second degree murder, Sgt. Toy Vixayvong.

Shortly after 5 a.m., the officials responded to the house in the 300 block of the Edmund Avenue after a caller said that a woman might have been injured inside and that the girl may be left alone, Vixayvong said at a press conference on Friday afternoon.

After nobody answered the door, the officers waited for the backup and then entered, he said. They found the intact girl who was removed from the house and brought to safety. Officers then found a woman who was declared dead by firefighters at the crime scene.

Vixayvong said that Murder's investigators worked on determining what happened. The Ramsey County Medical Examiner office will carry out an autopsy to determine the cause of death. The victim had not yet been identified until Saturday.

“This is a very tragic event,” said Vixayvong. “It not only affects the family, but the entire community.”

The Sergeant refused to go into details when he was asked about the woman's injuries, but he said that “due to the victim's trauma,” the police believed that it was a murder and girl of the victim.

The crime scene blocked part of the 300 block of the Edmund Avenue, where on Friday gathered in front of the house.
