Neighbor video shows a large explosion at the location of the Providence House Fire Fire

The neighboring video shows a large explosion at the scene of a Providence House Fire on Monday.

The fire occurred in the Lubec Street.

Neighbors say they have seen a great explosion on site.

The crews announced NBC 10 that the fire started in the basement around 12:30 p.m.

When these flames found the front yard, the neighbors saw the explosion.

The deputy deputy boss said that investigators are working to find out what led to this wild scene, but he said that a propane armored had exploded.

A fireman was taken to the hospital after the explosion, firefighters said.

Providence Fire Crews said this was a two -family house with eight inmates. No residents were injured by the fire.

The deputy boss also said NBC 10 that it took almost 60 firefighters to control the flames.

NBC 10 spoke to a Stephen Rouse who said he had witnessed the explosion.

“You could feel it through your body,” said Rouse. “The firefighters were in the house, some were in the house when it exploded.”

“A kind of tremor for everyone,” said Robert Butler, deputy deputy head of Providence. “There were propane tanks, there was an explosion at that time.”

The deputy deputy boss also said NBC 10 that Rhode Island Energy had to do the power supply of the building because the basement was full of water and there were several power lines near the flames.

“We couldn't allow anyone in the basement because there was so much water in the basement with electricity that came into play a high risk to us Rhode Island Energy and we were allowed to bring out the rest of the fire in the basement,” said Butler.

John Perik from NBC 10 contributed to this report.
