Canelo Alvarez against William Scull Kampfachenungs: Live Box updates, highlights, scorecard, start time

WBO, WBA and WBC Super in the middle weight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez seem to be undisputed in the division if he faces William Scull with IBF champion on Saturday. The fight goes from Riad, Saudi Arabia, and marks the first time that Alvarez fought outside of North America.

Scull won the IBF title with an October victory against Vladimir Shishkin. The belt was to be won that night because the IBF had withdrawn Alvarez because it had not taken a lengthy mandatory title defense against Scull. Now Alvarez wants to regain the title, undisputed again and then go to a rumored fight with Terence Crawford.

“I love boxing and I am very happy to be here. It is one of my dreams to fight in other countries, and now I'm about to do it. I am motivated as always,” said Alvarez at the last press conference on Thursday. “In the beginning, the change of time and the weather was a bit difficult. But that's why I came three weeks earlier. I'm ready now.”

There are some other interesting fights on the menu, including Jaime Munguia, who were looking for redemption against Bruna Surace after Surace had scored a shocking knockout in December. In addition, Martin Bakole and Efe Ajagba will compete in a fascinating cloakroom, and Badou Jack will defend his WBC cruiser weight against Noel Mikaelian.
