The Ukraine military intelligence agency claimed that it has put down a Russian SU 30 fighter plane with a rocket that was fired at sea by an unmanned sea ship. In his statement, the GUR claimed that the operation was carried out in coordination with the security service of Ukraine (SBU) and other units of the Ukrainian armed forces. The agency said the rocket had been launched by a Magura V5 Maritime Drone platform, a kind of Sea -drone -Ukraine has increasingly used in recent months.

The destroyed aircraft was identified as Russian SU-30, a two-engine fighter plane with an estimated market value of $ 50 million. The Ukraine claimed that the plane was “integrated into flames in the middle of the air before falling into the sea”.

Novorossiisk is a large commercial and military port for Russia on the Black Sea coast.
