Pirates drop brutal reliever injury bomb, ISiah Kiner-Falefa in Tough Roster Shuffle

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced on Saturday afternoon a handful of squad movements before the game of this night against the San Diego Padres.

The pirates have selected the contract of right-handed triple-A Indianapolis, but the additional Bullpen aid will take place at the expense of one of the top bats of the pirates. The loss of Lawrence is a big one for the pirate's bullpen, since the 29-year-old had a fantastic start this season with an ERA of 0.79 ERA through 11 1/3 innings. The hope is that Rainey and the rest of Pittsburgh's relief corps can take the gap.
