The Banken County's Sheriff office has held joint training at Forsyth

Last week the crime scene unit of Banks County, with the office of the sheriff of Forsyth County Sheriff, took part in a collaborative, practical training to strengthen the investigation and the cooperation between agencies and cooperation.

The one -day session organized by Forsyth County contained rotating workstations, in which the investigators complied with critical forensic techniques, including shoe pouring, advanced photo methods and the complicated process of recording latent prints on reflective surfaces such as glass.

The training was organized by the crime scene manager Katrina Willis and Malaika Moore, her counterpart in Forsyth County. Their coordinated efforts offered both teams valuable opportunities to update specialized skills that may not be used at every crime scene, but are of crucial importance for thorough and precise investigations, say the officials.

In addition to field exercises, the participants met with Forsyth's real estate and evidence team to exchange proven procedures and discuss procedures – and strengthen cooperation between the two agencies.

Officials say that joint training courses underline a common commitment to professional development and efficient, high -quality crime scene processing in the circulatory borders.
