Caitlin Clark has made “a lot of progress” in the middle of leg injury, says Fever HC

Caitlin Clark works back from a leg injury and makes “a lot of progress” to return to the court to find the fever of Indiana.

“As far as a status update is concerned, she has made a lot of progress in the past 24 hours, and that was our goal,” said head coach Stephanie White, according to Michael Voepel from ESPN. “We will see what happens and how she feels after the training that she went through today. Hopefully she is ready to go (Sunday).”

Clark missed her first game for six years on Saturday during the pre -season of Indiana Fever, but she is expected to return on Sunday when the team of Brazil's national squad in her former home court, the University of Iowa.

The last year of the Rookie of the Year played in all 40 games of the regular season and two playoff games of the team with an average of 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds.

Iowa Hawkeye's aluminum never missed a game in four college season and was given 139 appearances for the goal of Division I.

Clark observed from the sidelines after he was questioned from the fever's 79: 74 win against the Washington Mystics from the fever's 79: 74 win.

“Your communication was excellent,” said White Per Voepel. “She was really engaged and I had at one point that they decrease and put on their uniform and come out and play.”

Clark will try to join Sophie Cunningham on Saturday with 21 points with the 6-of-11 shooting on Sunday when the fever played against each other.
