Ruthless driving leads to shots and injured “uninvolved party” near Jones, 215 Beltway | Shooting

A person in a vehicle fired on another vehicle during a confrontation near the 215 Beltway and Jones Boulevard in the northwest of Las Vegas Valley on Saturday afternoon – and a person in a third vehicle who had nothing to do with the confrontation was hit by shots, the police said.

The police were called to the area shortly after 3 p.m. after a report was shot, said the Lt. Steven Skenandore in the Metropolitan Police Department on Saturday in a text message. This person was treated in a local hospital on Saturday afternoon due to a non -life -threatening wound, said Skenandore.

The officials learned that two vehicles had driven after an earlier confrontation in the area “ruthless”. At some point, an occupant started shooting on the other vehicle in one of the vehicles, the police said.

A “uninvolved party” in a third vehicle was hit by shots, said Skenandore.

Jones Boulevard crosses the 215 Beltway twice. The shootout on Saturday occurred on the northernmost of the two intersections.

The U -Bahn investigators were still investigating the incident until late Saturday afternoon.
